Bollywood actor Kartik Aaryan has reportedly been hospitalised after suffering a severe knee injury while shooting an intense action sequence for director Kabir Khan’s upcoming untitled film.
According to a source close to the production, the actor was injured during the final days of the film’s shoot, when major action sequences were being filmed. The incident reportedly occurred as the team was completing the last two days of the schedule.
Kartik has been admitted to Fortis Raheja Hospital, where he is currently under medical supervision. Doctors are expected to perform knee surgery within a day, following which the actor will be advised to take a few days of rest.
A source close to the production told India Today, “Kartik has now been admitted to Fortis Raheja Hospital and is under medical care. The doctors will perform his knee surgery in a day, after which he will have to rest for a few days. He should then be able to resume his work commitments.”
The injury comes as the actor was filming physically demanding action portions for Kabir Khan’s much-anticipated project. Details about the film’s title and storyline are yet to be officially revealed.
Despite the setback, Kartik Aaryan is expected to return to his professional commitments after recovering from the injury. Further updates on his health and the film’s shooting schedule are awaited.
