Film financier and producer S Chandraprakash Jain has joined hands with Subhash Kale’s Camera Take Films for the upcoming comedy entertainer Malamaal Weekly 2, bringing together two experienced names from the film production and technical services space.
Jain, who has been associated with several major film projects as a financier and producer, has backed noteworthy ventures including the Thalapathy Vijay-starrer Thalaivaa. His collaboration with Kale marks an important partnership for Malamaal Weekly 2, which is being positioned as a major theatrical release.
Subhash Kale’s companies have established a strong presence in the Indian film industry by providing post-production, VFX, camera and line-production services for several prominent Hindi films. His upcoming slate includes The Confession, featuring Nana Patekar, Bhagam Bhag 2 with Akshay Kumar, and the Dr V Shantaram biopic, which features Siddhant Chaturvedi and Tamannaah Bhatia.
The partnership is expected to combine Jain’s experience in financing and production with Kale’s technical and execution capabilities, creating a strong production ecosystem for Malamaal Weekly 2.
The film boasts an ensemble cast led by Paresh Rawal, along with Raveena Tandon, Parineeti Chopra, Shilpa Shirodkar, Fardeen Khan, Mahesh Manjrekar and Elvish Yadav. With its star-powered cast and the backing of experienced industry professionals, Malamaal Weekly 2 is shaping up to be an anticipated theatrical venture.
