‘Do Numbari’ to Kick Off ‘Mirzapur: The Movie’ Promotions; Song Releases on August 4

The countdown to Mirzapur: The Movie has officially begun as the makers unveiled the first-look poster of the film’s debut song, “Do Numbari.” The high-energy track is set to release on August 4, marking the first musical offering from the much-anticipated big-screen adaptation of the iconic Mirzapur franchise.

“Do Numbari” is sung, composed, and written by Dhanda Nyoliwala, making it a milestone release on multiple fronts. The song serves as the first-ever release under Excel Music and also marks Dhanda Nyoliwala’s Bollywood debut, adding further excitement among fans.

Scheduled to hit cinemas on September 4, 2026, coinciding with the Janmashtami holiday, Mirzapur: The Movie will release in Hindi and Telugu, expanding the franchise’s reach to a wider audience.

Directed by Gurmmeet Singh, the film reunites audiences with the franchise’s most beloved and feared characters. Pankaj Tripathi returns as the formidable Kaleen Bhaiya, while Ali Fazal reprises his role as Guddu Pandit. Divyenndu is back as the fan-favorite Munna Tripathi, alongside Ravi Kishan, who is set to appear in a dynamic role.

The film is produced by Ritesh Sidhwani and Farhan Akhtar, with Kassim Jagmagia and Vishal Ramchandani serving as co-producers. The screenplay is penned by Puneet Krishna, one of the creative minds behind the acclaimed Mirzapur universe.

With the launch of “Do Numbari,” the promotional campaign for Mirzapur: The Movie has officially shifted into high gear, setting the stage for one of the biggest Bollywood releases of 2026.
