Jio Studios & Mumbai Film Company’s Raja Shivaji, directed by Riteish Deshmukh, has delivered a stellar opening weekend making it the biggest opener of Marathi cinema.

After a record-breaking Day 1 and a strong hold on Saturday, the historical epic peaked on Sunday, registering its biggest day yet and capping off an exceptional weekend. The film collected a massive Rs 13.10 Crore Nett on Sunday, with a 13.5% jump over Saturday, taking its three-day total to an outstanding Rs 37.00 Crore Nett.
The film’s powerful storytelling has struck a deep chord with audiences, turning theatrical viewing into a shared celebration. While Maharashtra leads the charge with packed cinemas and enthusiastic footfalls, the film is also gaining solid traction across its Hindi version.
