Raja Shivaji Box Office Collection Day 2: Slight Dip but Remains Stable

On its second day (Saturday), Raja Shivaji collected approximately Rs 11.50 crore, following its opening day earnings of Rs 12.40 crore. This brings the film’s total box office collection to Rs 23.90 crore within just two days of release.

The slight dip on Saturday compared to Friday is not unusual, especially for films that open strongly due to anticipation and pre-release buzz. However, holding above the Rs 10 crore mark indicates stable footfall and consistent audience engagement across regions.

Directed by Riteish Deshmukh, who also plays the titular role, Raja Shivaji is a grand historical drama based on the life of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj, the legendary founder of the Maratha Empire. The film combines large-scale action sequences with emotional storytelling, aiming to appeal to both mass audiences and history enthusiasts.

The film boasts a multi-starrer cast including Sanjay Dutt, Abhishek Bachchan, Mahesh Manjrekar, Sachin Khedekar, Bhagyashree, Fardeen Khan, Jitendra Joshi, Amole Gupte, and Genelia Deshmukh. It is produced by Genelia Deshmukh and Jyoti Deshpande under the banners of Mumbai Film Company and Jio Studios.
