Bhooth Bangla 2nd day box office collection: The much-awaited horror-comedy Bhooth Bangla, directed by Priyadarshan and starring Akshay Kumar, is showing impressive momentum at the box office. After a decent opening, the film witnessed significant growth on its second day, signaling strong audience interest.
The film began its theatrical run with paid previews on Thursday, collecting Rs 3.50 crore. It then opened to Rs 14.40 crore on Friday (Day 1), setting a decent base. However, the real jump came on Saturday (Day 2), when the film earned Rs 21.75 crore, reflecting a substantial increase driven by positive word-of-mouth and weekend footfall.
With this, Bhooth Bangla has accumulated a total of Rs 39.65 crore in just two days and previews, putting it on track for a strong opening weekend.
Produced by Balaji Motion Pictures and Cape of Good Films, the film marks the reunion of Priyadarshan and Akshay Kumar in the comedy-horror genre after their popular collaboration Bhool Bhulaiyaa.
Apart from Akshay Kumar, the film features a strong supporting cast including Paresh Rawal, Rajpal Yadav, Tabu, Jisshu Sengupta, and Wamiqa Gabbi in key roles.
With the weekend still underway, all eyes are now on Sunday’s performance to see whether Bhooth Bangla can cross the Rs 60 crore mark in its opening weekend.
