Ranveer Singh’s much-awaited action-thriller Dhurandhar hit theatres today (December 5, 2025). In an exciting surprise, the makers revealed the release date of its sequel in the post-credits scene — Dhurandhar 2 is slated to release on March 19, 2026.

Written and directed by URI: The Surgical Strike (2019) filmmaker Aditya Dhar, the film features a powerhouse ensemble including Arjun Rampal, Akshaye Khanna, Sanjay Dutt, R. Madhavan, and Sara Arjun. Ranveer Singh plays a spy who infiltrates Pakistan’s underworld, with Akshaye Khanna as Rehman Dakait, Sanjay Dutt as Chaudhary Aslam, Arjun Rampal as ISI officer Major Iqbal, and Madhavan as Ajay Sanyal.
While Dhurandhar enjoyed a solo release, its sequel will face stiff competition at the box office, clashing with three major films, including two major Hindi releases.
The titles releasing alongside it are:
- Ajay Devgn’s Dhamaal 4, co-starring Arshad Warsi, Riteish Deshmukh, and Jaaved Jaaferi
- Yash’s Toxic: A Fairy Tale for Grown-Ups, featuring Nayanthara, Kiara Advani, Tara Sutaria, Huma Qureshi, and Rukmini Vasanth
- Dacoit: Ek Prem Katha, starring Adivi Sesh and Mrunal Thakur
There are also rumours that Salman Khan may release Battle of Galwan around the same time, which could intensify the box-office showdown.
Dhurandhar has been jointly produced by Jio Studios and B63 Studios, with music by Shashwat Sachdev.
