SS Rajamouli and Prabhas’ Baahubali franchise revolutionized Indian cinema, setting new benchmarks for epic storytelling. The two-part saga is now set to make a grand return with its re-release, Baahubali The Epic, on October 31, 2025, in major formats. Recently, rumors have been swirling that the re-release might include an announcement for Baahubali 3 during the climax.

However, in a recent interview, producer Shobu Yarlagadda addressed these rumors head-on, reassuring fans that no such announcement is coming. “There won’t be a Baahubali 3 announcement, for sure. We might have some other surprise, but it isn’t related to Baahubali 3. There is still a lot of work to be done on the third part,” he clarified.
He also teased an exciting future for the Baahubali universe, stating, “We have a lot more to tell from the Baahubali world. This re-release is not a one-time event but marks the beginning of Phase 2 of Baahubali. We truly believe there are countless stories waiting to be explored.”
The film will merge Baahubali: The Beginning (2015) and Baahubali: The Conclusion (2017), following the story of a man who discovers the truth about his past and claims his rightful place on the throne. Baahubali: The Epic will release in Telugu, Tamil, Malayalam, and Hindi.
Directed by SS Rajamouli, Baahubali franchise features Prabhas, Rana Daggubati, Anushka Shetty, Tamannah Bhatia and others.
