On the first anniversary of Stree 2, Maddock Films is thrilled to announce the next spine-tingling chapter in its much-loved horror-comedy universe: Thama. Set to premiere its first glimpse on August 19, 2025, Thama introduces a new and terrifying force to reckon with — the sarvashaktishaali villain who is poised to redefine fear for Indian audiences.
Blending supernatural thrills with dark humor and an unexpected love story, Thama promises a genre-bending cinematic experience that’s wilder, deadlier, and unlike anything seen before. The film will hit theatres across India this Diwali 2025, adding a chilling twist to the festive season.
Directed by Aditya Sarpotdar, the film boasts a powerhouse cast led by Ayushmann Khurrana, Rashmika Mandanna, Paresh Rawal, and Nawazuddin Siddiqui, with a gripping screenplay crafted by Niren Bhatt, Suresh Mathew, and Arun Falara.
Produced by Dinesh Vijan and Amar Kaushik, the film is co-produced by Sharada Karki Jalota and Pooja Prem Patheja, with music composed by the acclaimed duo Sachin–Jigar and lyrics penned by Amitabh Bhattacharya.
