After a decent first week, Ranveer Singh’s Hindi period drama ’83’ has passed its second week at a good note. Expectedly, Kabir Khan’s directorial got succeed to impress everyone and gathered a solid word of mouth. As a result, it did the business of 71.87 crores in the first week.
83 has maintained some pace in the second week and remained almost steady. In the second weekend, it did the business of 19.40 crores which included 4.36 crore on Friday, 7.73 crores on Saturday & 7.31 crores on Sunday.
Then on weekdays, Reliance Entertainment’s production minted 2.01 crore on 2nd Monday, 1.52 crore on 2nd Tuesday, 1.12 crore on 2nd Wednesday & 1.08 crore on 2nd Thursday. After 2 weeks, the total collection of 83 has become 97 crores.
On the other hand, superstar Allu Arjun and Rashmika Mandanna starrer Pushpa: The Rise has received mostly positive reviews from the critics as well as the audience. On a strong note, it did the business of 26.89 crores in the first week and 22.20 crores in the second from its Hindi version only.
In the third weekend, Sukumar’s directorial picked up once again and registered the business of 25.40 crores with 3.50 crore on Friday, 6.10 crores on Saturday & 6.25 crores on Sunday. Then on weekdays, Pushpa (Hindi) bagged 2.75 crore on 3rd Monday, 2.50 crore on 3rd Tuesday, 2.25 crore on 3rd Wednesday & 2.05 crore on 3rd Thursday. After 3 weeks, the total collection of Pushpa: The Rise (Hindi) has become 72.49 crores at the domestic box office.
