The new Hindi offerings of this Thursday — Rajkummar Rao, Shraddha Kapoor’s Stree 2, Akshay Kumar’s Khel Khel Mein, and John Abraham’s Vedaa — have received positive reactions from the viewers.
Stree 2 had some special opening premieres on Wednesday, during which the film earned Rs 9.40 crore. On Thursday, the horror-comedy was opened at a solid note of around 55% in the morning. Post noon shows, it has witnessed a good jump in footfalls and registered the opening business of Rs 55.40 crores nett.
In parallel, Khel Khel Mein had started the journey at a dull note of around 16% in the morning but it recorded decent jump post noon shows in multiplexes and ended up at Rs 5.23 crores nett. The opening numbers of this big-budget film is unexpectedly lower than Article 370 (Rs 6.12 crores).
While, Vedaa took an average start in the morning but witnessed a decent growth over the evening & night shows. With a good response from multiplexes, it has bagged the amount of Rs 6.75 crores nett.
