Tu Jhoothi Main Makkaar box office collection day 9: Directed by Luv Ranjan, TJMM has done well in its extended 9 day week. The film started quite well on the partial holiday of Holi and then sustained itself over the rest of the weekend.
Due to a positive word of mouth, Ranbir Kapoor and Shraddha Kapoor starrer Tu Jhuthi Main Makkar remained strong throughout the 5-days extended opening weekend and did the business of 70.24 crores which included 15.73 crores on Wednesday, 10.34 crores on Thursday, 10.52 crores on Friday, 16.57 crores on Saturday & 17.08 crores on Sunday.
Then on weekdays, after a significant drop, Tu Jhoothi Main Makkaar managed to collect 6.05 crores on Monday, 6.02 crores on Tuesday & 5.50 crores on Wednesday.
On the next day i.e. 2nd Thursday as it was released a day earlier, Luv Films and T-Series Films’ production minted the amount of 4.50 crores and raised 8 days total collection to 92.31 crores nett at the domestic box office.
The film’s second weekend will be a critical one, as it faces competition against Rani Mukerji’s Mrs Chatterjee vs Norway, Kapil Sharma’s Zwigato and Upendra and Sundeep starrer Kabzaa (Hindi Version).
