Tu Jhoothi Main Makkaar box office collection day 8: Luv Ranjan’s Tu Jhoothi Main Makkaar continues its steady run at the box office. The rom-com drama, featuring Ranbir Kapoor and Shraddha Kapoor in the lead role, is performing extremely well in the North circuit.
Due to a positive word of mouth, Tu Jhuthi Main Makkar remained strong throughout the 5-days extended opening weekend and did the business of 70.24 crores which included 15.73 crores on Wednesday, 10.34 crores on Thursday, 10.52 crores on Friday, 16.57 crores on Saturday & 17.08 crores on Sunday.
Now Luv Films and T-Series Films’ production is running on weekdays with a significant drop in footfalls. On Monday, it managed to collect the amount of 6.05 crores while 6.02 crores on Tuesday. On the next day i.e. Wednesday, it minted 5.50 crores and raised 7 days total collection to 87.81 crores nett at the domestic box office.
The upcoming Friday of the film will be crucial, but this Friday sees the release of Kapil Sharma starrer ‘Zwigato‘ and Rani Mukerji’s ‘Mrs Chatterjee Vs Norway‘.
So, the reception to these films will also decide if they’re posing a tough competition to the Ranbir Kapoor starrer.
