Tu Jhoothi Main Makkaar box office collection day 6: After a successful opening weekend collection, Luv Ranjan’s directorial rom-com drama ‘TJMM’ starring Ranbir Kapoor and Shraddha Kapoor in the lead roles continues to rule over the box office. The film, however, witnessed a drop on Monday which is considered normal in the weekdays.
On Wednesday, despite a decent start in the morning due to the Holi festivities, Tu Jhuthi Main Makkar takes a fair start with 15.73 crores. After that, at a steady note, the film managed to collect the amount of 10.34 crores on Thursday and 10.52 crores on Friday.
On Saturday and Sunday, Luv Films and T-Series Films’ production picked up further and did the business of 16.57 crores & 17.08. After the 5-days extended weekend, the total collection of TJMM was recorded at 70.24 crores nett from 3500 screens.
Now Tu Jhoothi Main Makkaar has entered on weekdays and as usual, witnessed a significant drop in footfalls and minted the amount of 6.05 crores on Monday and raised its 5 days total collection to 76.29 crores nett at the domestic box office.
This Friday sees the release of ‘Mrs Chatterjee Vs Norway’ starring Rani Mukerji along with Kapil Sharma starrer ‘Zwigato’. It will be a major competition for Tu Jhooti Main Makkaar if these releases receive positive word of mouth.
