Ravanasura Teaser: After the super success of Dhamaka, Mass Maharaja Ravi Teja is back another mass entertainer titled, Ravanasura. Directed by Sudheer Varma, the film also features Sushanth in a crucial role. The film will have its theatrical release on April 7, 2023.
The teaser begins with a criminal chasing a girl and the next frame shows a girl lying down lifeless with blood all over her body. An experienced officer played by Jayaram is assigned to resolve the murder case and he is saying, “Prathi Criminal Vaadu Chesina Crime Meeda Vaadi Signature Vadilesi Vellipothaadu… (Look For That Signature)”. Ravi Teja is introduced as a Lawyer. While the title alone created inquisitiveness, the tagline heroes don’t exist made us further curious whether he is the good guy or the bad guy.
A source close to the film added, “We wanted to show different variations in Ravi Teja’s character. In the teaser, he can be seen giving a malicious smile, gazes seriously, and roars with enthusiasm when he gets into action. Sushanth has also been introduced in it. We also wanted the audience to see brutishness of Ravi’s character. Just like the quote mentioned in the teaser- “Truth Is Scarier Than Fiction”, we promise that this crime saga will be scarier.”
The source went on to add, “Sudheer Varma is a master craftsman. He wanted to present Ravi Teja’s character in this crime thriller beyond anyone’s imagination. This is not the regular hero we have seen in commercial movies. He is a new man.”
Produced by Abhishek Nama and Ravi Teja under Abhishek Pictures and RT Teamworks, the film also stars Sriram, Anu Emmanuel, Megha Akash, Faria Abdullah, Daksha Nagarkar, Poojitha Ponnada, Rao Ramesh, Murali Sharma, Sampath Raj, Nitin Mehta (Akhanda fame), Satya, Jaya Prakash among others.
