Makers of Pushpa have released the first teaser of Pushpa The Rule, the sequel to the hugely popular 2021 film Pushpa The Rise, starring Allu Arjun and Rashmika Mandanna.
Makers of the Pushpa films, Mythri Movie Makers took to Twitter to share the first teaser of the movie, alongside a caption which reads, “#WhereIsPushpa ? The search ends soon!” They further added, “The HUNT before the RULE 🪓 Reveal on April 7th at 4.05 PM #PushpaTheRule”
The video begins with a bike-borne silhouette of a man escaping into the forests. The year is 2004 and a voiceover says, “Pushpa, who is wounded by bullets, has escaped from the Tirupati prison.”
The video then breaks into a montage of angry protests as the words “Where is Pushpa?” flash on the screen. The answer to this question will be revealed on April 7, a day before Allu Arjun‘s birthday.
Written and Directed by Sukumar, Pushpa: The Rule also stars Fahadh Faasil, Dhanunjay, Rao Ramesh, Suneel, Anasuya Bharadwaj and Ajay Ghosh in key roles. Devi Sri Prasad has composed the music for the film, with cinematography and editing by Miroslaw Kuba Brozek and Karthika Srinivas respectively. Pushpa: The Rule is expected to release later this year or in early 2024.
