Shahid Kapoor and Kiara Advani starrer the highly-appreciated Kabir Singh has become the best trending Hindi film ever at the Indian box office. Even in the fifth week as well, it is getting a solid response from the audience and scoring far better numbers than all the new & existing Hindi offerings.
Sandeep Reddy Vanga’s directorial this romantic drama has not only ended the long dry spell of Indian box office but also set a new height for Akshay Kumar‘s career. The movie received huge appreciation from everyone across the globe for it’s solid content and brilliant performances given by the entire cast.
After a strong opening at domestic box office, Kabir Singh remained steady throughout the opening week and did the business of 134.42 crores, that included 70.83 crores of weekend and 63.59 crores of weekdays. In the second week as well, it remained good and collected 78.78 crores with 47.15 crores of weekend and 31.63 crores of weekdays.
Then in the third week, Kabir Singh got solid response and collected the amount of 36.40 crores including 22.52 crores of weekend and 13.88 crores of weekdays. In the fourth week, it raked the business of 16.66 crores that included 10.35 crore of weekend and 6.32 crore of weekdays.
After 4 weeks of release, total collection of Shahid-Kiara starrer was recorded as 266.26 crores at domestic box office. Now it is running in the fifth week and bagged the amount of 4.98 crore in it’s fifth weekend, with 1.03 crore of Friday, 1.65 crore of Saturday and 2.30 crore of Sunday.
With this, total 31 days collection of Kabir Singh has become 271.24 crores. Now it is running on limited screens across India but still has some hold over audience and seems to rake around 275 crores in lifetime domestically.
