JugJugg Jeeyo starring Varun Dhawan, Kiara Advani, Ashik Nihon, Anil Kapoor, Neetu Kapoor released in theatres yesterday. Directed by Raj Mehta, the film is based on complex relations and is loaded with songs and drama.
It is jointly being produced by Dharma Productions and Viacom 18 Studios. It also stars Maniesh Paul and marked the Bollywood debut of social media influencer-actor Prajakta Koli. As per reviews, all the actors have performed very well in the film backed by a smart writing & convincing direction. The audience has also found it entertaining and showed a thumbs up.
Amid the good excitement of moviegoers, JugJugg Jeeyo is in theatres now and was opened at a slow note in the morning on Friday, post noon shows, expectedly it had picked up very well and bagged the amount of 9.28 crores nett from 3375 screens nationwide.
Packed with elements of comedy, romance and drama in perfect proportions, Jugjugg Jeeyo marks Neetu Kapoor’s comeback. Anil plays Neetu’s husband. Reality TV star Varun Sood has done a cameo appearance in the film.
Speaking about the JugJugg Jeeyo, Varun had recently told IANS, “Look, honestly speaking, no matter how much we guess, analyse and predict the fate of a film, at the end of the day, there is no formula and no one knows what works at the box office. And we have seen that in recent times. Post the pandemic, things have changed but the only unchanged factor is people still love going to the theatre and watch a film that is entertaining.”
