Around a month back released Good Newwz has already emerged as the super-hit of 2019 in Bollywood and still heading to break more records. Despite having the biggie Ajay Devgn’s Tanhaji: The unsung Warrior in its parallel, this Hindi comedy is getting a decent response from the audience in the fourth week.
Starring Akshay Kumar, Kareena Kapoor Khan, Diljit Dosanjh and Kiara Advani, Raj Mehta’s directorial had raked the fantastic business of 197.10 crores in the last 3 weeks that included 127.90 crores in the first, 53.46 crores in the second & 15.74 crores in the third week.
Then in the fourth weekend, Good Newwz had maintained a decent pace at the box office despite Tanhaji and managed to collect the amount of 4.04 crores with 0.75 crores on Friday, 1.40 crores on Saturday & 1.89 crores on Sunday. Now on weekdays also, it is running at a steady note.
On 4th Monday, the Hindi comedy drama had witnessed a significant drop and minted the amount of 0.55 crores. While on the next day i.e. 4th Tuesday, it remained stable at the box office and bagged the amount of 0.55 crores.
On 4th Wednesday, Good Newwz recorded a slight further dip in footfalls and garnered the business of 0.50 crores. After 27 days, the total collection of Karan Johar and Akshay Kumar’s production has become 202.74 crores nett at the domestic box office.
