Ever since the time the Sonu Sood starrer ‘Fateh’ was announced, the film has been making news for all the right reasons. Firstly, the film stars the ‘messiah during lockdown’ Sonu Sood. Secondly, the film is about cybercrime, a subject that has become the call of the day (given the increase in cybercrime cases). And thirdly, Sonu Sood himself has been actively involved in the scripting of the film. A new update about the film reveals that Sonu Sood has begun shooting the action thriller ‘Fateh’ in the holy city of Amritsar, Punjab.
Speaking about the film, the film’s lead hero Sonu Sood said, “The film is rooted in reality, and inspired by real-life incidents that I saw happen to people even during the lockdown”.
The film’s female lead actress Jacqueline Fernandez said, “Ever since the first reading of the script, I had decided that I want to be a part of this. Now, as we start shooting for ‘Fateh’, I am excited for us to bring forth a story that people will really enjoy.”
On the other hand, while speaking about the film’s hero Sonu Sood and the film, Shariq Patel (CBO- ZEE Studios) said, “Sonu is one of the most respected personalities in the country and our intent with ‘Fateh’ is to tell a story which connects with masses and possibly have a real-world impact – much like Sonu himself.”
As a part of the film’s preparations, the film’s lead stars Sood and Jacqueline Fernandez have participated in various workshops, and are expected to be coached by ethical hackers on the sets while filming as well.
While the film is being directed by Vaibhav Mishra, it also stars Shivjyoti Rajput and Vijay Raaz in prominent roles. The film ‘Fateh’ is scheduled for a release later this year.
