Fast & Furious: Hobbs & Shaw 4th Day Collection, Usual Drop on Monday in India

After the solid opening weekend, the hugely-awaited Hobbs & Shaw has remained strong on Monday at the Indian box office. With a strong word of mouth, the American action thriller movie is running phenomenally worldwide including India.

Fast & Furious Presents: Hobbs & Shaw, it is the 9th installment and a spin-off of The Fast and the Furious franchise centered around the titular Luke Hobbs and Deckard Shaw, characters introduced in the main series. From critics also, it has received mostly positive reviews and gathered a good word of mouth.

Due to the huge initial hype, Hobbs & Shaw opened on an excellent note and registered the second highest Hollywood opening of the year at the Indian box office with 13.15 crores. Over the weekend, it took a remarkable growth and raked the business of 13.75 crores on Saturday & 16 crores on Sunday.

After a weekend, the total collection of Dwayne Johnson and Jason Statham starrer was recorded at 42.90 crores nett. Now Universal Pictures’ presentation has entered on weekdays with a maintained pace. On Monday, with a usual drop than Friday, it minted 5.59 crores and raised 4 days total collection to 48.49 crores nett at the Indian box office.

Fast & Furious Presents: Hobbs & Shaw is released in English, Hindi, Tamil and Telugu languages in 2,100 screens across India. In Fast & Furious – Hobbs & Shaw, Dwayne Johnson will be seen as Luke Hobbs, who works for the US Diplomatic Security Service, while Jason Statham plays the role of Deckard Shaw, a former UK Special Forces assassin-turned-mercenary.
