Ayushmann Khurrana starrer film Dream Girl continues its dream run at the domestic box office market. Directed by debutante director Raaj Shaandilyaa, film Dream Girl has become actor Ayushmann Khurrana’s second release to enter the Rs 100 crore club.
Starring Ayushmann Khurrana and Nushrat Bharucha, Dream Girl has entertained most of the viewers and gained solid word of mouth. For its unusual & interesting story-line, it has received mostly positive reviews from the critics as well.
Due to positive feedback, Ekta Kapoor’s production remained strong throughout the opening week and did the business of 72.20 crores. Then in the second week as well, it maintained a very good pace and bagged the amount of 38.60 crores at the domestic box office.
After the two successful weeks, Raaj Shaandilyaa’s directorial passed the third weekend as well on an excellent note and registered the business of 16.20 crores, with 3.40 crores on 3rd Friday, 6.30 crores on 3rd Saturday, and 6.50 crores on 3rd Sunday.
Now once again Dream Girl has entered on weekdays and faced a considerable drop in footfalls due to normal working days. On 3rd Monday, it witnessed normal drop than Friday and minted the amount of 2 crores. With this, its 18 days total collection has become 129 crores nett at the domestic box office.
