Janhvi Kapoor took a nostalgic trip down memory lane this Halloween as she recreated her mother, the legendary Sridevi’s iconic look from Nagina. Sharing a series of pictures on Instagram, Janhvi paid a fun and heartfelt tribute to one of Hindi cinema’s most memorable films, with Orry recreating Rishi Kapoor’s look and her friend Vaishnav Praveen stepping into Amrish Puri’s character.
Captioning the post, Janhvi wrote, “Happy Halloweeeeeny 👻 had to recreate one of the most iconic movie moments everrrrr 🐍🤍✨.
She further added, “And who could possibly be more iconic than Mumma, Rishi uncle and Amrish sir!!”
Bringing together nostalgia, humour and a whole lot of love, Janhvi’s Halloween recreation is a beautiful nod to her mother’s unforgettable cinematic legacy.
Sridevi passed away at the age of 54 in February 2018. Janhvi made her Bollywood debut that year in July with Dhadak.
