Meet Armaan Khanna urf Arjun Tanwar A Self-Made Movie Star and ‘Gareebo Ka Hrithik’ in 2026’s Most Brain-Rot Film, ‘Party Animals’

Every friend group has that one guy who thinks he is the hero of his own movie, and Armaan Khanna is exactly that guy. Played by Arjun Tanwar in Party Animals, Armaan is a self-made movie star (at least in his own head), a nepo kid by association and, of course, ‘Gareebo Ka Hrithik’. With the confidence of someone born for the spotlight, the filmi aspirations to match and an unshakeable belief that he is the main character, Armaan brings a whole lot of drama to the party. But when his larger-than-life imagination meets the unpredictability of real life, the results are anything but picture-perfect.

When Armaan reconnects with his childhood best friend Mann Patel, what should be a memorable night out soon spirals into a roller-coaster of romantic complications, questionable decisions and escalating madness. Between crashing parties, complicated equations and situations that seem straight out of a fever dream, Armaan’s idea of a perfect night takes some wildly unexpected turns. After all, being the hero of your own movie is one thing; keeping your life from turning into a blooper reel is quite another.

Talking about playing Armaan, Arjun Tanwar said, “Playing Armaan was bizarre in the best way possible. He’s the kind of guy who has absolutely no idea what he wants, but somehow manages to be everywhere, acting like a star, crashing parties, kissing someone who might be someone else’s partner, and randomly riding a horse at a party! I can’t explain what it felt like being Armaan. He’s the guy everyone wants to hang out with, except, perhaps, himself. What I love most is how spectacularly stupid and complicated he is!”

Directed by Ravi Chhabriya and produced by Vikram Mehra and Siddharth Anand Kumar under the banner of Yoodlee Films, Party Animals features Viraj Ghelani as Mann Patel and Arjun Tanwar as Armaan Khanna, alongside Pragati Nagpal, Naqiyah Haji, Alam Khan, Saqib Ayub, Kamlesh Sawant, Anil Charanjeett, Aaron Koul, Vijay Patkar and Manoj Joshi.

Written by Ali Haji, Khush Mullick and Veer Panchal, the film explores friendship, terrible judgement and escalating madness in a party-comedy genre that mainstream Hindi cinema has relatively rarely explored.

Party Animals is set to release in cinemas on 20 November, 2026.
