On the occasion of superstar Prabhas’ 47th birthday, Mythri Movie Makers and director Hanu Raghavapudi officially declassified “File No.25”, releasing a gripping announcement glimpse for their highly anticipated period action-drama, ‘FAUZI’.
The reveal gives film enthusiasts their first deep dive into the premise of the pan-India spectacle, which blends historical event drama, high-stakes espionage, and WWII action.
High-Stakes Espionage & Historical Intrigue
The teaser opens with a heated exchange between Indian revolutionary leader Subhash Chandra Bose and Adolf Hitler in Nazi Germany. As Hitler expresses doubt over Indian forces, Bose reveals the existence of a legendary Indian strategist, soldier, and spy operating covertly out of Calcutta to destabilize British intelligence.
The Bhagavad Gita Cipher
The highlight of the “File No.25” declassification is the reveal of the protagonist’s secret weapon—an unbreakable military code rooted in the Bhagavad Gita. According to the narrative, even British intelligence considers the code significantly harder to crack than the famous German Enigma machine. The mysterious figure, known across enemy lines only by the moniker “Fauzi,” is set to be portrayed by Prabhas.
Mounted on a grand scale by Mythri Movie Makers, FAUZI brings together a stellar pan-India ensemble cast led by superstar Prabhas, alongside debutante Imanvi Esmail, veteran actors Mithun Chakraborty, Anupam Kher, Jaya Prada, and Sajjad Delafrooz.
Helm’d by director Hanu Raghavapudi, known for his visually rich storytelling in Sita Ramam, the film is being produced as a multi-language cinematic event spanning Telugu, Hindi, Tamil, Kannada, Malayalam, and Bengali. Designed to deliver an immersive World War II action-drama experience, FAUZI is officially scheduled for a worldwide theatrical release on March 19, 2027.
