Ansh Duggal and Pragati Srivastava are set to headline Nakhrewaalii, an upcoming romantic comedy that looks at relationships and gender roles through a contemporary lens. Directed by Rahul Shanklya and written by Divy Nidhi Sharma, the film is scheduled to release in cinemas on October 30, 2026.
Its quirky poster carries the tagline “Kabhi Kabhi Pyaar Mein Majnu Ko Bhi Laila Banna Padta Hai” and sets the tone for something different.
Billed as a “Womantic Comedy,” Nakhrewaalii uses humor to spark conversations about women’s safety and challenge deep-rooted societal norms.
The creators want to keep things fun while also making you think about gender equality, so expect laughs with some real talk mixed in.
Produced by Jio Studios and Colour Yellow, led by Aanand L Rai and Himanshu Sharma, the film continues the banners’ focus on bringing rooted stories and fresh perspectives to the screen.
