The official trailer for the romantic thriller Tu Hai Meri Kiran is officially out, offering audiences a peek into a high-stakes story of love, mystery, and obsession. Written and directed by Karan Rawal, Tu Hai Meri Kiran marks his feature directorial debut.
Rawal previously directed the short film Half Full and has also worked as an assistant director on projects including The Dirty Picture and Veere Di Wedding.
The film stars Sonakshi Sinha and Zaheer Iqbal alongside an ensemble cast featuring Ankit Gupta, Sherlin Seth, Zarina Wahab, and Purnendu Bhattacharya.
Tu Hai Meri Kiran marks Sonakshi Sinha and Zaheer Iqbal’s first major lead project together following their wedding in June 2024.
The title Tu Hai Meri Kiran also carries a connection to the 1993 psychological thriller Darr, which starred Shah Rukh Khan, Sunny Deol and Juhi Chawla. Juhi’s character in the film was named Kiran, while the song “Tu Hai Meri Kiran” became closely associated with the story’s theme of obsessive love.
