Director Rajkumar Periasamy’s much-awaited action entertainer ‘Om’, featuring Tamil star Dhanush and Malayalam superstar Mammootty in the lead, will now hit screens on November 20, its makers announced on Friday.
Wunderbar Films, the production house owned by actor Dhanush and the producer of the film, made the announcement on its social media platforms. “The Day for the Ultimate Strike is Here. #OM Hits theatres worldwide on November 20, 2026,” the production house posted.
The makers had originally planned to release the film on October 16. However, Dhanush later announced that the release had been postponed.
He said the makers had chosen to postpone the film out of respect for Superstar Rajinikanth, whose film ‘Jailer 2’ is slated to hit screens on October 15.
Produced by Shraddha Agrawal, Dhanush, and Azmat Jagmag, the film features Sai Pallavi and Sreeleela as the female leads, with music by Sai Abhyankkar.
Ezhil Arasu is the cinematographer, Kalaivanan R is the editor and Kavya Sriram is the costume designer.
