The much-awaited second single from Jailer 2 is set to arrive soon, adding to the excitement surrounding Rajinikanth’s upcoming action comedy. Sun Pictures has officially announced that the song, titled “One Sun One Moon,” will be released on September 25.
Sun Pictures shared a video on social media announcing the update with the caption, “Wakeup Rajination! ⭐ #Jailer2 Second Single #OneSunOneMoon releasing from September 25 🔥.” The announcement has heightened anticipation among fans of the Superstar, who are eagerly waiting for the sequel to the 2023 blockbuster Jailer.
Directed and written by Nelson Dilipkumar, Jailer 2 is produced by Kalanithi Maran under the banner of Sun Pictures. The film serves as a sequel to Jailer and brings back several members of the original cast.
Rajinikanth returns in the lead role, alongside Ramya Krishnan, Yogi Babu, Mirnaa and Rithvik, who reprise their respective roles from the first film. The sequel also features a fresh lineup of prominent actors, including S. J. Suryah, Mithun Chakraborty, Vidya Balan, Suraj Venjaramoodu, Anna Rajan and Jatin Sarna.
The technical crew includes Anirudh Ravichander, who returns as the music composer, while Vijay Kartik Kannan handles cinematography and R. Nirmal is in charge of editing.
Jailer 2 is scheduled to release worldwide in theatres on October 15, 2026.
