Daayra 3rd day box office collection: Daayra, the 2026 Hindi crime thriller directed by Meghna Gulzar, has completed its opening weekend with a total box-office collection of Rs 5.63 crore.
Starring Kareena Kapoor and Prithviraj Sukumaran in the lead roles, the film recorded a gradual rise over its first three days. Daayra opened at Rs 1.15 crore on Friday before improving to Rs 2.18 crore on Saturday. The film added another Rs 2.30 crore on Sunday, taking its three-day total to Rs 5.63 crore.
Daayra also benefited from a Buy One Get One (BOGO) ticket offer during Saturday and Sunday. While the promotional offer helped bring audiences to theatres, the weekend numbers remained below the level that might have been expected for a film featuring established names such as Kareena Kapoor and Prithviraj Sukumaran.
Directed and co-written by Meghna Gulzar, Daayra is inspired by a true event and is produced by Vineet Jain and Dhaval Jain under the banners of Junglee Pictures and Pen Studios. The ensemble cast also includes Kanwaljit Singh, Achint Kaur, Anuja Sathe, Seema Azmi, Biswapati Sarkar, Jitendra Joshi and Upendra Chauhan.
