Mirzapur: The Movie has finally arrived in theatres, and the much-awaited film has opened on a strong note at the box office. Starring Pankaj Tripathi, Ali Fazal, Divyenndu, Ravi Kishan, Jitendra Kumar, Rasika Dugal and Shweta Tripathi, the film hit cinemas on September 4, 2026.
As per the latest estimates, Mirzapur: The Movie has collected around Rs 28.11 crore (Rs 27.85 crores from Hindi and Rs 0.26 cr from Telugu) on Day 1 in India. The strong opening highlights the massive popularity of the Mirzapur franchise and the anticipation surrounding its transition from the OTT platform to the big screen.
The first-day collection is a significant start for the film. The franchise has built a massive fan following over the years, with its characters and dialogues becoming hugely popular among audiences.
Pankaj Tripathi returns as the iconic Kaleen Bhaiya, while Ali Fazal reprises his role as Guddu Pandit. Divyenndu is back as Munna Tripathi, with Ravi Kishan, Jitendra Kumar, Rasika Dugal and Shweta Tripathi adding to the ensemble cast.
The film is directed by Gurmmeet Singh and produced by Ritesh Sidhwani and Farhan Akhtar under the banner of Excel Entertainment.
