The mystery surrounding Vijay Salgaonkar is set to deepen as ‘Drishyam The Conclusion’ prepares to arrive in cinemas on October 2. The third chapter of the popular Hindi crime-thriller franchise brings back Ajay Devgn in his much-loved role, alongside several key members of the series.
On Saturday, the makers unveiled a new set of character posters featuring Ajay Devgn, Tabu, Shriya Saran, Rajat Kapoor, Prakash Raj and Jaideep Ahlawat, offering a glimpse into the characters who will drive the next chapter of Salgaonkar’s story.
Set against the backdrop of Goa, the upcoming film will continue the narrative established in the earlier installments. The story is expected to explore the emotional and psychological consequences of the murder at the heart of the franchise, while Salgaonkar once again finds himself under pressure to protect his family.
After years of successfully staying ahead of the authorities, Salgaonkar faces a new and formidable challenge in the form of SP Crime Branch Rajveer Singh, played by Jaideep Ahlawat. The clash between the two is set to become one of the central conflicts of the film.
The movie is produced by Alok Jain, Ajit Andhare, Kumar Mangat Pathak and Abhishek Pathak. It is presented by Star Studio18 and produced under the Panorama Studios banner.
Abhishek Pathak returns as director and is also among the writers, with the screenplay and writing additionally credited to Aamil Keeyan Khan and Parveez Shaikh.
While the film brings back several familiar faces, Akshaye Khanna, who played a pivotal role in ‘Drishyam 2’, will not be returning for the third installment.
With Vijay Salgaonkar once again at the center of a dangerous battle against the law, ‘Drishyam The Conclusion’ promises another tense chapter in the franchise when it releases in theatres on October 2.
