Toxic: A Fairy Tale for Grown-Ups 1st day box office collection: Yash’s much-awaited gangster drama Toxic: A Fairy Tale for Grown-Ups has opened strongly at the box office. Released worldwide on August 26, 2026, the film recorded a reported Rs 101.10 crore on its first day, combining collections across its major language markets.

According to the reported Day 1 figures, Toxic earned Rs 23.30 crore from Kannada, while the Hindi version contributed Rs 55 crore. The Telugu version collected Rs 16 crore, followed by Rs 5.50 crore from Tamil and Rs 1.30 crore from Malayalam. Altogether, the film’s reported first-day collection stands at Rs 101.10 crore.
Directed by Geetu Mohandas, Toxic: A Fairy Tale for Grown-Ups features Yash in a dual role. The cast also includes Kiara Advani, Nayanthara, Huma Qureshi, Tara Sutaria and Rukmini Vasanth. The film is jointly produced by Venkat K. Narayana and Yash under KVN Productions and Monster Mind Creations LLP.
Despite its strong opening, Toxic has reportedly received negative reviews from critics. The film’s box office performance over the coming days will therefore be important in determining whether it can maintain its momentum through the first weekend.
