Junglee Pictures and PEN Studios have unveiled a striking new poster for their upcoming film Daayra, offering audiences a glimpse into the intense world of the highly anticipated thriller. The film is set to arrive in cinemas on 18 September 2026, with its trailer scheduled to drop on 31 August 2026.
The newly released poster features Kareena Kapoor Khan and Prithviraj Sukumaran in compelling, intense avatars, surrounded by police crime-scene tape that sets a dark and intriguing tone. The visual immediately hints at a story steeped in mystery, tension and high-stakes drama.
Directed by acclaimed filmmaker Meghna Gulzar, Daayra marks her third collaboration with Junglee Pictures, following the critically acclaimed films Raazi and Talvar. The collaboration has already generated considerable anticipation, given Gulzar’s reputation for tackling hard-hitting and socially resonant subjects.
Adding further excitement, Daayra brings together powerhouse performers Kareena Kapoor Khan and Prithviraj Sukumaran for the first time on the big screen. Their pairing is expected to be one of the film’s major highlights, with the newly unveiled poster offering the first striking glimpse of their characters and the film’s atmospheric world.
The film is produced by Vineet Jain, produced by Dhaval Gada, and co-produced by Amrita Pandey, under the banners of Junglee Pictures and PEN Studios. PEN Marudhar will distribute the film.
