The much-awaited spy comedy ‘Udta Teer’, starring Ayushmann Khurrana and Sara Ali Khan, has officially got a new release date. The film is now set to hit theatres on 9 October 2026.
The announcement has generated fresh excitement among Bollywood audiences, with the film promising a high-energy blend of espionage, comedy and entertainment. ‘Udta Teer’ is written and directed by Akash A Kaushik, who is making his directorial debut with the project.
The film marks another collaboration between Dharma Productions and Sikhya Entertainment, bringing the two production houses together for their fourth project. Their association has previously resulted in films including ‘Kill’, ‘Gyaarah Gyaarah’ and ‘The Lunchbox’.
‘Udta Teer’ brings together Ayushmann Khurrana and Sara Ali Khan in a fresh pairing. While details about the film’s plot and characters are being kept under wraps, its positioning as a spy comedy has already made it one of the projects to watch out for.
The film is produced by Karan Johar, Adar Poonawalla, Apoorva Mehta, Guneet Monga Kapoor and Achin Jain.
