The makers of Toxic: A Fairytale for Grown-Ups have officially announced that the film’s trailer will be unveiled on August 8, 2026, in Bengaluru, alongside the release of a striking new poster featuring lead star Yash.
The trailer launch date holds special significance for the team, as it marks two years since the film officially went on floors on August 8, 2024. The announcement has further heightened anticipation for one of the year’s most-awaited pan-Indian releases.
Written by Yash and filmmaker Geetu Mohandas, who also directs the project, Toxic: A Fairytale for Grown-Ups boasts an ensemble cast that includes Nayanthara, Kiara Advani, Tara Sutaria, Rukmini Vasanth, and Huma Qureshi in pivotal roles.
The film has been shot simultaneously in Kannada and English, with dubbed versions set for release in Hindi, Telugu, Tamil, and Malayalam, underlining its ambitious multilingual appeal.
Toxic is jointly produced by Venkat K. Narayana under KVN Productions and Yash through his banner Monster Mind Creations.
The action drama is scheduled to hit cinemas worldwide on Wednesday, August 26, 2026, strategically aligning with the festive season that includes Onam, Varamahalakshmi, and Raksha Bandhan, a window expected to boost its box office prospects.
