Jio Studios and Colour Yellow Productions have officially announced Chauhaan, an action entertainer headlined by Ajay Devgn, with a theatrical release slated for October 1, 2027. The title announcement coincides with the birth anniversary of the late legendary action director Veeru Devgan, Ajay Devgn’s father.
The announcement video features the iconic track ‘Jumma Chumma De De’ playing in the background and culminates with the powerful dialogue: “Pathaanon se kehna, Chauhaan aa raha hai.” The film also marks Ajay Devgn’s first collaboration with filmmaker Aanand L Rai.
Directed by Neeraj Yadav, Chauhaan is produced by Jyoti Deshpande, Aanand L Rai, and Himanshu Sharma under the banners of Jio Studios and Colour Yellow Productions. Jio Studios serves as both presenter and producer of the project.
The film further strengthens Ajay Devgn’s packed slate of upcoming releases. Alongside franchise titles such as Dhamaal 4, Drishyam 3, Golmaal 5, and Shaitaan 2, the actor is also attached to original projects including Ranger, Chauhaan, and Luv Ranjan’s untitled next.
With multiple releases lined up across 2026 and 2027, Ajay Devgn continues to balance established franchises with fresh ventures, with several projects currently at various stages of production and development.
