In a major reshuffle for Bollywood’s 2026 release calendar, Dhamaal 4 has officially shifted its release date from July 3 to July 17, 2026, thereby avoiding a box-office clash with Welcome to the Jungle starring Akshay Kumar.
According to trade sources, the decision followed a direct conversation between Ajay Devgn and Akshay Kumar, with both stars reportedly agreeing that two large-scale ensemble comedies releasing within a week of each other could affect the business prospects of both films. Rather than competing head-on, the actors opted for a strategic release plan, allowing each film more breathing space at the box office.
Directed by Ahmed Khan, Welcome to the Jungle is locked for a June 26, 2026 release and features a massive ensemble cast including Suniel Shetty, Jackie Shroff, Raveena Tandon, Disha Patani, Jacqueline Fernandez, Arshad Warsi, Paresh Rawal, Rajpal Yadav, Johnny Lever, Lara Dutta, Shreyas Talpade and Tusshar Kapoor, among others.
Meanwhile, Dhamaal 4 reunites franchise favourites Ajay Devgn, Riteish Deshmukh, Arshad Warsi, Sanjay Mishra and Jaaved Jaaferi, while also introducing new additions such as Esha Gupta, Sanjeeda Shaikh, Anjali Anand, Upendra Limaye and Ravi Kishan.
Presented by [T-Series] in association with [Devgn Films], Dhamaal 4 is a production of T-Series Films, Maruti International and [Panorama Studios]. Directed by Indra Kumar, the film is produced by Ajay Devgn, Bhushan Kumar, Krishan Kumar, Ashok Thakeria, Indra Kumar, Anand Pandit and Kumar Mangat Pathak.
The comedy entertainer is now all set to hit theatres on July 17, 2026.
