The makers of Ram Charan’s upcoming pan-India sports drama Peddi have released a striking first-look poster featuring Shiva Rajkumar as the formidable Gournaidu, a commanding figure who appears to embody authority, grit, and a deep-rooted connection to the film’s rural setting. The reveal has amplified anticipation ahead of the film’s trailer drop on May 18.
Taking to social media, the makers shared a behind-the-scenes video introducing Shiva Rajkumar’s character Gournaidu. The clip offered a rugged and intense glimpse into the film’s world while simultaneously building anticipation for the trailer, which is slated to release on May 18.
Sharing the video online, the makers wrote, “Gournaidu a.k.a @nimmashivarajkumar garu. Step into the raw world of #PEDDI #PEDDITrailer in 4 days. Peddi in cinemas worldwide on 4th June. #GetReadyForPeddi.”
Directed by Buchi Babu Sana and backed by Vriddhi Cinemas in association with Mythri Movie Makers, Peddi also stars Janhvi Kapoor, Jagapathi Babu and Divyendu Sharma in pivotal roles.
Produced by Venkata Satish Kilaru under Vriddhi Cinemas, Peddi is scheduled to premiere globally on June 3, 2026, before releasing theatrically worldwide on June 4, 2026. The film will also be distributed in North India by Jio Studios following the success of films like Dhurandhar and Raja Shivaji.
