The much-anticipated fantasy comedy Naagzilla, backed by Dharma Productions and Mahaveer Jain Films, has officially been postponed from its original release date. Starring Kartik Aaryan in the lead, the film was initially scheduled to hit theatres on August 14, 2026, coinciding with the lucrative Independence Day weekend.

However, the makers have now decided to push the release to February 12, 2027, aligning it with the Valentine’s Day weekend instead.
Directed by Mrighdeep Singh Lamba, Naagzilla is a VFX-heavy project featuring Kartik Aaryan as a shape-shifting serpent. The film marks a notable collaboration between the actor, filmmaker-producer Karan Johar, and producer Mahaveer Jain, and has already generated significant buzz for its unique concept and ambitious scale.
With its new release timing, the film is expected to appeal to a different audience segment, leveraging its mix of fantasy, comedy, and romance to attract viewers to cinemas.
