True to his signature style, Himesh Reshammiya delivers a composition that feels both timeless and deeply emotive. The song relies on the evocative power of the moon—a symbol of connection for those separated by distance—to weave a story of longing and hope.

VThe track features the fresh, melodic voices of Nihal Tauro and Ankona Mukherjee, whose harmonies perfectly mirror the chemistry between the leads. Written by the legendary Sameer Anjaan, the lyrics lean into the “quiet ache” of separation, making it an instant favorite for the Eid season.

The music video showcases the cinematic debut of Salman Khan and Chitrangda Singh as an on-screen couple. Salman Khan, portraying an Army officer, brings a grounded intensity to the role, while Chitrangda Singh embodies the grace and resilience of a woman holding down the fort at home.

Originally titled Battle of Galwan, the film was recently renamed to Maatrubhumi: May War Rest in Peace. The project is inspired by the real-life 2020 Galwan Valley clash, with Salman Khan portraying the role of Late Colonel Bikumalla Santosh Babu (posthumously awarded the Maha Vir Chakra).
