The trailer for Ustaad Bhagat Singh has finally dropped, and it’s every bit the “mass” spectacle fans were hoping for. Reuniting the blockbuster duo of Pawan Kalyan and director Harish Shankar (the team behind the legendary Gabbar Singh), this film looks set to dominate the box office this Ugadi.

The 2-minute and 14-second trailer introduces Pawan Kalyan as Bhagat Singh, an unapologetic, honest, and high-energy police officer. While the film was initially rumored to be a remake of the Tamil hit Theri, director Harish Shankar has clarified that this is a straight, original subject tailored for the “Power Star.”
Key Highlights from the Trailer:
- Mass Appeal: Pawan Kalyan’s dialogue delivery and swagger are reminiscent of his most iconic cop roles.
- Visuals: Cinematographer Ayananka Bose has captured a vibrant, high-octane look, particularly in the action sequences set in a massive police station set.
- Music: The trailer is fueled by a thunderous background score by Thaman S, while the songs throughout the film are composed by Devi Sri Prasad (DSP).
The film stars Sreeleela and Raashii Khanna (playing the role of Shloka) as the parallel female leads, bringing a fresh dynamic to the screen. The supporting cast is packed with seasoned performers, including veteran actors Ashutosh Rana, Gautami, and R. Parthiban (playing Nalla Nagappa), along with Nawab Shah, and B. S. Avinash.
Produced by Mythri Movie Makers, the film was scheduled to be released theatrically on 26 March 2026, but was preponed to March 19, 2026 coinciding with Ugadi.
