The “Dhurandhar” wave is officially back, and it’s bigger than ever. As of March 12 (10 PM), Ranveer Singh’s spy-action sequel, Dhurandhar 2: The Revenge, has recorded massive advance booking numbers, particularly for its highly anticipated Paid Previews.
In the top two national cinema chains—PVR-INOX and Cinepolis—the film has already sold approximately 238,000 tickets for the Wednesday previews alone. Industry experts suggest the movie will comfortably cross the 240K mark by Friday morning.
Total Revenue: Domestic advance bookings have already grossed over Rs 22 crore, while worldwide pre-sales have crossed Rs 60 crore.
Directed by Aditya Dhar, the film is set to release on March 19, with multiple preview shows scheduled across the country on March 18 post 5 pm.
Produced by Jyoti Deshpande, Aditya Dhar, and Lokesh Dhar under Jio Studios and B62 Studios, Dhurandhar The Revenge also stars R. Madhavan, Arjun Rampal, Rakesh Bedi, Sara Arjun, and Sanjay Dutt in key roles.
To keep the momentum alive, the makers have also re-released the original 2025 blockbuster Dhurandhar in nearly 500 screens worldwide this week. This “relive the saga” move is expected to funnel even more audiences toward the sequel’s opening weekend.
