In a remarkable show of dedication and patriotism, Salman Khan has reportedly shot a special patriotic song for his upcoming film Battle of Galwan at the request of the Minister of Defence. The song, which will appear during the film’s end credits, is said to be a heartfelt tribute to the martyrs depicted in the war drama.

According to a report by Bollywood Hungama, the song was filmed in an intense, last-minute schedule. “They shot the song literally overnight. Salman wanted the song for the end-credits paying homage to all the martyrs who are featured in the film. Director Apoorva Lakhia, who was on a short break, had to rush back and shoot the song,” an informed source revealed.
The song, written and sung by Ayaan Lall (actress Kunicka Lall’s son), is filmed on Salman as the end credit will roll. The names and pictures of the martyred soldiers will flash on screen as Salman will lip-sync along.
Apoorva Lakhia’s Battle of Galwan is produced under the banner of Salman Khan Films, and is inspired by the 2020 Galwan Valley clash between Indian and Chinese troops. The film is set to showcase one of the most intense chapters in recent Indian military history, where the brutal combat took place without the use of firearms.
Alongside Khan as Colonel Bikkumalla Santosh Babu, Battle of Galwan also features Chitrangada Singh in a key role.
