The makers of Peddi, starring Ram Charan, have officially announced the film’s theatrical release date, confirming that the much-anticipated pan-India project will hit cinemas worldwide on April 30, 2026. The announcement was accompanied by the unveiling of a striking new poster, further amplifying anticipation around the film.

The release date announcement comes at a celebratory moment for Ram Charan, who recently embraced fatherhood. Adding to the milestone, Peddi—one of the most talked-about upcoming Indian films—now has a firm release window, positioning it as a major summer attraction with a partial holiday advantage.
Directed by Buchi Babu Sana, Peddi has remained in the spotlight ever since its announcement. From its initial reveal and first-look posters to teaser glimpses and music releases, every update has generated strong traction across social media platforms. The film is widely being positioned as one of the biggest pan-India spectacles slated for 2026.
The newly released poster presents Ram Charan in a rugged and intense avatar. Sporting long hair and a heavy beard, with a dust-covered and bloodied face, the actor is seen standing amid a charged crowd. The visual hints at a raw, mass-oriented character and reinforces the film’s high-voltage tone. Sharing the poster, the makers wrote, “The date of his arrival changes, but not his MIGHTY GRIT #PEDDI WORLDWIDE RELEASE ON 30th APRIL, 2026,” while tagging the cast and crew.
Music has also played a key role in sustaining the film’s momentum. The song ‘Chikiri Chikiri’ created a strong impact and received over millions of views on YouTube across multiple language versions as well as garnered likes too. Composed by A. R. Rahman, the song features vocals by Mohit Chauhan with lyrics penned by Balaji, and has been appreciated for its melody, visuals, and cross-regional appeal.
Peddi features an ensemble cast that includes Janhvi Kapoor, Jagapathi Babu, Shiva Rajkumar, and Divyendu Sharma alongside Ram Charan. With its scale, music, and now a confirmed release date, the film is shaping up to be one of the most prominent theatrical releases of 2026, as audiences await further updates from the makers.
