The makers of Toxic: A Fairy Tale For Grown-Ups have revealed the first look of Rukmini Vasanth from the much-anticipated film, introducing her character Mellisa. The announcement adds fresh intrigue to the film’s expanding universe and continues the steady rollout of character reveals ahead of a major announcement planned on Yash’s birthday, January 8, 2026.

Rukmini’s first look hints at a poised yet enigmatic presence, suggesting Mellisa will play a key role in the dark, layered narrative that Toxic promises. While details about her character remain under wraps, the visual reveal has sparked strong curiosity among fans, who are eager to see how Mellisa fits into the film’s morally complex world.
The unveiling follows earlier first looks of Kiara Advani, Huma Qureshi, Nayanthara, and Tara Sutaria, each adding a distinct shade to the film’s ensemble cast. Together, these reveals have steadily built momentum for what is shaping up to be one of the most ambitious Indian films in recent times.
Marking his return to the big screen after the record-smashing success of KGF: Chapter 2, Yash headlines Toxic, which he has also co-written alongside Geetu Mohandas, who directs the film. The project is being filmed simultaneously in English and Kannada, with dubbed versions planned in Hindi, Telugu, Tamil, Malayalam, and several other languages—underscoring its pan-Indian and global ambitions.
Produced by Venkat K. Narayana and Yash under the banners of KVN Productions and Monster Mind Creations, Toxic: A Fairy Tale For Grown-Ups is slated for a Thursday, March 19, 2026 release, perfectly timed with the festive weekend of Ugadi, Gudi Padwa, and Eid.
