On October 8, fans of Shah Rukh Khan were treated to an exciting update straight from the official Instagram handle of Team SRK. The post confirmed that the international schedule of SRK’s upcoming film KING, directed by Siddharth Anand, has officially wrapped in Poland.

The post read: 🎬✨ UPDATE FROM KING ✨🎬 It’s a WRAP in POLAND! 🇵🇱🔥 SRK & Siddharth Anand’s team have officially completed the Poland schedule of #KING 💥 Now the countdown begins for a GRAND ANNOUNCEMENT on 2️⃣nd November — the King’s birthday? 🫣 Are you ready for the storm that’s coming? 🌪️🔥”
Sources close to the production have revealed that the Poland shoot wasn’t just another overseas schedule — it was all about grand, real-world action. The team filmed several high-stakes sequences, including:
- A gritty gangster fight scene
- A thrilling race track sequence
- An adrenaline-pumping motor boat chase
- A high-intensity showdown at a port
- And most notably, a massive chase sequence involving multiple luxury cars, police vehicles, and bikes
What truly sets KING apart, however, is the film’s bold approach to action. In an industry where CGI and green screens dominate, the makers of KING are going old-school: “No VFX. Real action.”
With the Poland leg wrapped, all eyes are now on November 2, which fans know is more than just another day — it’s Shah Rukh Khan’s birthday. Over the years, it’s become a moment when major announcements are made, and this year looks to be no different.
Speculation is rife that the makers will unveil the first official look, a teaser trailer, or even a release date on that day.
Directed by Siddharth Anand, known for blockbuster action spectacles like Pathaan and War, KING is rumored to be a dark, edgy action film featuring SRK in a fierce new avatar. The film also reportedly stars Suhana Khan, making her big-screen debut alongside her father in a unique role.
According to several reports making the rounds, King will have several stars being a part of it, such as Deepika Padukone, Abhishek Bachchan, Anil Kapoor, Rani Mukerji, Jackie Shroff, Arshad Warsi and Abhay Verma, to name a few.
