Kantara Chapter 1 7th day box office collection: The Hindi version of Kantara Chapter 1, the latest film directed by and starring Rishab Shetty, has been making waves at the box office since its release. After a phenomenal weekend, the film continues to perform solidly, with its total domestic collections reaching Rs 101 crore by Wednesday. This is a major achievement, especially considering the film’s strong word-of-mouth and the limited promotions compared to larger-scale Bollywood films.
On its opening day, the film made an impressive Rs 18.50 crore, setting the stage for what would be a fantastic opening weekend. On Friday saw a slight dip as expected, with Rs 13.50 crore, but the real surge came on Saturday and Sunday. Over the weekend, the film collected Rs 20 crore on Saturday and Rs 23 crore on Sunday, pushing its total to Rs 63.50 crore by the end of the weekend.
On Monday witnessed a natural drop in collections to Rs 8.70 crore, but the film still maintained a stronghold at the box office. On Tuesday, the film picked up again, earning Rs 11.20 crore, showcasing its staying power even in the weekdays. By Wednesday, the film saw a slight dip in collections, with earnings around Rs 8.20 crore.
With a cumulative total of Rs 103.10 crore after seven days, Kantara Chapter 1 has proven its mass appeal and ability to attract audiences across various demographics.
Produced by Hombale Films, Kantara Chapter 1 also features Rukmini Vasanth, Jayaram and Gulshan Devaiah in lead roles. The film released in theatres on October 2 worldwide, with premiere shows in selected theatres on October 1.
