The highly anticipated teaser for 120 Bahadur, a cinematic tribute to one of the most heroic chapters in Indian military history, has officially been released today. Starring Farhan Akhtar in the lead role as Major Shaitan Singh Bhati, the film promises to bring to life the courage and sacrifice of 120 soldiers of the 13 Kumaon Regiment during the legendary Battle of Rezang La in 1962.
Makers, taking to their official handle, posted the teaser along with the caption: “Yeh wardi sirf himmat nahin, balidaan bhi maangti hai! The film’s title pays homage to the 120 soldiers who faced overwhelming odds at 14,000 feet in Ladakh’s Rezang La valley during the 1962 Indo-China war. Major Shaitan Singh, awarded the Param Vir Chakra posthumously, led his men with such courage that the battle has become a symbol of unyielding resistance in Indian military lore.
Shot across Ladakh, Rajasthan, and Mumbai, and mounted on a never-before scale, 120 Bahadur recreates the war front with an unflinching eye. From frozen terrains to battlefield silence, every frame carries weight.
Directed by Razneesh “Razy” Ghai and produced by Ritesh Sidhwani & Farhan Akhtar (Excel Entertainment) and Amit Chandrra (Trigger Happy Studios), 120 Bahadur releases in cinemas on 21st November 2025.
