Bollywood is buzzing again—and this time, it’s a nostalgic ride back to 2012. The much-anticipated track “The Po Po Song” from Son of Sardaar 2 is out now. Headlined by Ajay Devgn and Mrunal Thakur, and powered by Guru Randhawa’s unmistakable voice, the track is making waves across social media and music platforms alike.
Taking to his Instagram handle, Ajay Devgn shared the song video and wrote, “We weren’t messing bro…. it is THE SONG bro!!! #ThePoPoSong Out Now: Link in bio #SonOfSardaar2 in cinemas this 25th of July! #SardaarIsBack #SOS2.”
Originally popularized in Son of Sardaar (2012) with a star-studded cast including Salman Khan and Sanjay Dutt, “Po Po” became a fan favorite for its quirky hook and Punjabi flair. Fast forward to 2025, and the new version retains that energetic core while turning up the gloss, thanks to composer Tanishk Bagchi and lyricist Armaan Sharma.
Meanwhile, Son Of Sardaar 2 is directed by Vijay Kumar Arora. The film features an impressive star cast, including Ravi Kishan, Sanjay Mishra, Mrunal Thakur, Neeru Bajwa, Chunky Pandey, Kubbra Sait, Deepak Dobriyal, Vindu Dara Singh, Roshni Walia, Sharat Saxena, Sahil Mehta, and the late Mukul Dev.
